Founding of DivemetoHeaven
How it all began
My father introduced me to diving at an early age. His stories and photographs sparked my interest in the underwater world. As I was still too young for my own certification, I gained my first experience through introductory dives.
In 2009, I completed my Junior Open Water Diver certification in Makadi Bay, Egypt. In the years that followed, diving became a regular part of my holidays. As my experience grew, so did my interest in developing my skills and getting to know the underwater world better.
Today, I help others along that same path. You may be just starting out, or you may still feel drawn back into the water by curiosity after many dives. That feeling connects us. For me, it remains the reason to dive again and again.
From diver to guide
With every diving trip, my desire to learn more and take on responsibility grew. In 2013, in Jandia on Fuerteventura, I became a dive professional, completed my dive guide training and began guiding guests underwater professionally.
From 2019 to 2020, my path led me to Robinson Club Soma Bay in Egypt. There I completed my instructor training and then worked as both instructor and guide. Alongside teaching and guiding, I took responsibility for full-day and half-day dive boats and gained experience with divers, sites and conditions of many different kinds.
Today, these experiences shape my courses, training sessions, travel preparation and personal recommendations. My goal is not simply to deliver one course, but to provide reliable support throughout each diver's individual journey.

Why DivemetoHeaven was created
I want you to enjoy your dives: glide calmly above a reef, trust your equipment and have time to notice the encounters around you, both big and small. That takes knowledge, practice and opportunities to keep diving regularly.
That is why I founded DivemetoHeaven. My SSI courses give you a clear understanding of the foundations and open up new possibilities. Skills Training helps you build on what you learned during your Open Water Diver course. And in Liveaboard Preparation, we refine your skills and safety procedures for more demanding dives.
I support you personally along the way: together, we look at where you are, what you want to experience and how to prepare for it. Training builds familiarity. Familiarity builds confidence. That gives you the freedom to truly enjoy diving, on your next trip and on every dive in between.
My philosophy
Honesty
Long-term trust matters more than a quick sale. That is why I also advise against a trip, course or purchase when it does not fit someone's experience and goals.
Safety
Safety does not begin in the water. It begins with preparation, planning and realistic decisions.
Individual guidance
Experience, goals and personal confidence differ. Education, training and recommendations are therefore tailored transparently to each individual diver.
Community and respect
Shared experiences, mutual support and learning from one another matter just as much as treating the ocean responsibly.
Diver Diamond
The SSI Diver Diamond describes four connected areas of diving: knowledge, skills, equipment and experience. This philosophy also shapes the way I support you.
You understand why you do something. You practise until the procedures feel familiar. You get to know your equipment and adjust it to suit you. And you gain experience that you can continue to build on.
My courses, training sessions and our trips together connect these areas, helping you grow more confident step by step and get more from your dives.
My favorite dive sites
For me, what makes a dive site special goes beyond what you can see there. It is the combination of underwater scenery, conditions and encounters. These places inspire me for very different reasons.
Panorama Reef, Egypt
I particularly enjoy the drift dives here and the view out into open water. Changing conditions and the chance of encounters with large fish make every dive exciting.
Abu Kafan, Egypt
Depth and current give this reef its distinctive character. For me, it is an impressive place that also calls for awareness and respect for the conditions.
SS Thistlegorm, Egypt
What fascinates me about the Thistlegorm is the connection between diving and history. Even on return visits, there are details to discover that went unnoticed before.
Kandooma Thila, Maldives
Current and abundant fish life bring plenty of movement to the water here. That energy is exactly what makes this site so appealing to me.
Socorro Islands, Mexico
The remote location and encounters with large marine life make Socorro special to me. Here, you get a sense of just how vast and impressive the ocean is.
